The Noche de Los Cortos is a one night event. About two hours of the event will be to screen the short films, so we will screen between 12 to 15 Cortos. Once we have all the submissions a selection will be made by a selected group of people. Some of these people are:
Diego Velasco. Writer and Director of “La Hora Cero“, a feature film that has won many international prices and is considered one of the best and most successful films of Venezuela. He also wrote and directed “Cédula Ciudadano“, which is in the Los Cortos site.
Otto Scheuren. Editor and Director. Otto, is a successful commercial editor in Los Angeles and he also edited “La Hora Cero”. Otto also directed “Rosas de color Rosa“, which is in the Los Cortos site.
Blas Kisic. Blas earned a BA in Mass Media in his home town, Caracas. He worked in TV, radio and films, before finding his niche as a voice actor. Thanks to his fluency in languages and training, he established himself in L.A. voicing commercials, dubbing and narration with Blague Communications
Yaniv Waisman. Producer and Director of Crexels. Yaniv is a TV producer in Los Angeles and creator of Los Cortos.
Luis Carlos Hueck. Works for Fox Sports as a Director of sport programing and in 2010 will direct his first feature film “Papita Mani Toston” He also won last year with his short film “She is the one”
Once the selection is made, we will announce the OFICIAL SELECTION of “The 2nd Noche de Los Cortos” here. After the screening on “The 2nd Noche de Los Cortos”, the audience will select the BEST CORTO of the event.
